In the context of the framework agreement (8 March, 2013) among Politecnico di Torino and the Town of Torino, and through the creation of specific scholarships, the Politecnico was tasked with the realization of some didactic laboratories at secondary schools, using hardware donated to the Town of Torino from Intesa Sanpaolo bank, Intermobiliare bank, CSI Piemonte. In this way OpenScuola was born, a project from linux@studenti aimed to identify a sustainable solution at low deployment and maintenance costs.

The following protocol agreement between the Town of Torino, “Politecnico di Torino”, “Università degli Studi di Torino” and “Ufficio Scolastico Regionale per il Piemonte”, called “Scuola 2.0” envisions, among other activites, the continuation of the OpenScuola project.
